Saratoga Septic Inspections - I recently completed a very large septic inspection for a very happy client in Saratoga NY. Here is a nice email that she sent me as a thank-you note

"Thanks very much Jay, I appreciate all you did. This report is so complete that it really will help us a lot. We are already talking to septic companies to get estimates, and [septic company name removed] asked for a copy of your report. If there are any questions, I'll send over an email.

Glenville NY Septic Inspector

Recently on a septic inspection in Glenville NY We found that another septic company had pumped the tank and "passed" the system. When we put our camera through the drain line to the septic tank, we found that the drain pipe never reached the tank and just drained up against the foundation. Just another reason to have a proper septic inspection!

Septic Inspection in Castleton

Are you looking for a septic inspection in Castleton NY? Here is a recent review from a septic inspection in Castleton

"If you are looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and thorough inspector..you've found him. In short, Jay was AWESOME. We would highly recommend him for any of your home inspection needs. Keep reading for a first hand account.
Jay was suggested to us by another industry professional, and how lucky we were to get the recommendation. We are first time home buyers who wanted to get an inspection of the septic system on a foreclosed, bank owned property. When I first spoke to Jay, I immediately knew I was talking to a professional that took pride not only in his own work, but also in the industry. He was well-educated and wasn't trying to sell himself or his business. Jay is not only a septic inspector but also a home inspector with multiple certifications. But most importantly, he was fair and honest. During the conversation, he told me that the camera he normally uses to look inside the pipes was not working and that it would not be fixed by the time we needed to have our inspections completed, He explained to me other ways of testing  that would ensure all of aspects of the system were functioning properly. When our conversation ended, I told my husband we found the right guy for the job.
There were some bumps in the road as far as scheduling the date and time for the inspection, but they were OUR fault not his. Jay was extremely accommodating, patient, and reassured us that every and anything we needed inspection wise he ensured would done before our deadline. Not only did we make our deadline but we had a few days to spare!
Inspection time: Jay arrived early on what felt like the hottest and most humid day this summer, ready to work. Jay encouraged us to follow him around as he did the inspection, We asked a million and one questions and he answered all of them in detail.
Jay excavated the tank lid, manually inspected the tank and both ballasts, and stress tested our leach field. He excavated a portion of the main outflow pipe and performed a  visual inspection. He recognized that the pipe had "settled and proceeded to tell us what kind of impact that could have for us down the road. Jay determined the location of our distribution box, excavated and inspected it, Additionally, he gave us detailed information regarding the current condition and how to properly perform maintenance in the future.
For the entire 3 1/2 hours, he was thorough, informative, knowledgeable and personable. In short, he was AWESOME and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a job done right."

Septic Inspection, Schodack NY 12123

Here is a review from a client of ours that I did a septic inspection for in Schodack NY

"We hired Jay to do a complete inspection of the septic tank and system for a building we are purchasing.  He is unbelievable!
He started by locating the septic tank clean out plugs and snaking a small camera system down the pipes to see what the condition of the system was.  After only a few minutes he identified a few potential problems and completely explained what his concerns were.  He then found the cover to the septic system and dug it out so he could remove it and see the condition of the tank.  After that, he continued to trace the system to the distribution box, which he also dug out.
I would gladly recommend Jay - he was thorough in his inspection and he explained the whole process to me.  Additionally, he provided a report the next day by email with pictures and detailed descriptions of the inspection and his recommendations for items to correct."

With winter here it is a good time to think about your septic system and get an inspection. We spend more time at home in the winter, thus creating more waste water. Inspect your property for any signs of sewage on the ground or wet spots near your septic tank. Also, give us a call for your annual septic inspection.
